Thanksgiving

9:14 AM

This Thanksgiving was different and the same. In the week leading up to the holiday, I was acutely aware of the fact that I wasn't with my family. They had all gone to Idaho, or to visit with their respective significant other's families. I had decided to stay in Nashville. When it came time to book the trips for the holiday, I figured I would be working. So, I stayed. Instead, I spent my holiday in Nashville.

I woke early and watched the Thanksgiving Day parade. I remember loving this parade as a child, but quickly after that my interest in it petered off. It wasn't until the last few years, when I became interested in the Broadway performances that it became an annual tradition once more.

I also headed to the movie theater, where I watched Crimes of Grindewald. Did you see it? What did you think?

Finally, I ended my day, eating with strangers. We had been invited to celebrate with a group of people unfamiliar to us. It ended up being really nice. Hope you enjoyed your holiday. Xx.
